Choosing the right ring goes far beyond the design. If it doesn’t fit well, the charm is lost — and it can even become uncomfortable. But measuring the ideal size is simpler than it seems. In this article, we explain everything you need to know to get it right the first time (even when ordering online). Why is it important to know your size?
A ring that is too tight can cause discomfort and marks on the skin. One that is too loose risks slipping off (and disappearing).
Having the right measurement ensures:
✔️ Comfort in daily wear
✔️ Durability and less wear
✔️ Enhancement of the design and the jewel itself

How to measure your finger size (at home)
Don’t have a ring sizer? No problem. Here are two simple ways to find your size with objects you already have at home:
Method 1 - With a thread
- Wrap a thin thread around the base of your finger
- Mark where the thread crosses
- Measure the length with a ruler
- Compare the measurement in millimeters with our conversion chart
Tip: measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly more swollen.
Method 2 - With one of your rings
- Choose a ring that fits well on the finger where you want to wear the new one
- Measure the inner diameter with a ruler (in millimeters)
- Check in our chart the corresponding size

❗️Common mistakes to avoid
- Measuring with cold fingers (they may be thinner than usual)
- Using tape or paper that is too wide (it can distort the measurement)
- Ignoring the width of the piece itself: the wider the ring, the tighter it will feel
