MESH pieces are certified by INCM - Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda, SA INCM provides this guarantee by verifying the legal touch (precious metal per thousand parts contained in an alloy) and by applying a contrast with the responsibility mark, manufacturer or equivalent.

The application of hallmarks is only mandatory for silver pieces weighing more than 2 grams and for gold pieces weighing more than 0.5 grams.
